Connect a primary Microsoft mailbox
Microsoft connection joins Gmail and IMAP/SMTP accounts. It uses Microsoft authorization for the primary mailbox and its primary address.
How this helps
Outlook.com, Hotmail, Live and Microsoft 365 with Exchange Online have a dedicated connection flow when configured for the instance.
A practical example
Add your Outlook.com account from settings, approve the requested permissions at Microsoft, and find your mailbox folders in Aerogram.
In practice
An organization may require administrator consent. Shared mailboxes, delegated access, sending aliases and on-premises Exchange are outside this initial scope.
You can read messages, attachments and inline images from your connected mailbox. Validation with a real Microsoft 365 mailbox is still pending: connection and folder detection alone do not prove complete message reading.
A send request accepted by Microsoft is not proof of delivery. An uncertain transmission is not automatically retried. The guide explains reconnection and limitations without asking you to change Azure permissions.
