Is Aerogram right for you?
These answers describe how the beta works and its limitations. They allow you to verify your needs before connecting an existing box.
Does Aerogram provide me with an email address?
No. It’s a web mail client: you connect the addresses you already have. Gmail or your provider continues to receive and send mail. Aerogram does not provide an email server.
Can I combine Gmail and my work address?
Yes, if your professional mailbox allows a compatible IMAP/SMTP configuration. The unified inbox brings together the connected accounts, with their visible origin. You can select a single box without disconnecting the others.
Do the responses all go to the same address?
Each sending identity remains linked to an authorized account. Check “From” before sending a message. A box that only receives cannot send; another identity must be chosen explicitly. Aggregation does not create any right to use an address.
Are Outlook or Microsoft 365 already connectable?
Yes, with Microsoft OAuth connection enabled on the instance, for Outlook.com, Hotmail, Live and Microsoft 365 / Exchange Online main mailbox. Your organization may require administrator consent. Aliases and shared mailboxes are not supported. The compatibility page specifies the conditions and limits.
Is all my history immediately available?
No. Import is progressive and subject to supplier quotas. Unified local search covers already downloaded messages. A body missing from the cache may require a provider read when opened.
Are my messages end-to-end encrypted?
No. They are encrypted at rest and the exchanges are encrypted, but the server can decrypt them to provide the service. Received HTML is isolated and external images are blocked by default. See the protections and their limits.
Does the cache replace a backup?
No. The cache is limited. A personal archive requires the corresponding rights and activation, then an effective copy. Access (legacy contract) excludes the saving of email content. The offers and the confidentiality detail these differences.
Does closing the browser cancel a scheduled send?
No. The server keeps the operation. He must be available, with an active account, to run it. The cancellation period precedes delivery; a message already transmitted cannot be recalled.
How to access the beta and pay?
You can submit an application. The invitation is reviewed manually, with no guaranteed place or time. No payments are currently enabled; the prices displayed are an indicative catalog excluding tax.
