More room to write, an explicit sender

Desktop composition opens in an expanded window and preserves your text when minimized. The sending identity remains an explicit choice.

Available since 4 October 2026

How this helps

Write with more space, then minimize the window to read another conversation without losing your draft.

A practical example

You reply to a customer from your work account. The From field lets you check the chosen account before sending, even with several mailboxes open.

In practice

For Gmail and Microsoft, only the connected account’s primary address is supported. An alias does not become an authorized sender simply because it appears in an old draft or signature. The same restriction applies to Microsoft since 10 October.

Preferences distinguish new messages from replies. When the context is unclear, Aerogram asks for an authorized identity instead of silently substituting another account.

A scheduled message keeps the identity accepted when it was prepared. Changing a preference later does not assign it a new sender. Read the guide before scheduling or forwarding a message.

Staging preview, 13 October 2026: new mailboxes offer Sent with Aerogram, a link to https://Aerogram.cloud and a small embedded logo. Under Writing and sending → Signatures, you can edit this content or clear it entirely and Save. A deleted signature does not return after reconnecting; existing signatures, saved drafts and scheduled messages are preserved.
